10-week recreational, educational, and creative dance classes that are held at local schools during after-school hours.

 

• Classes are held on-site at the school.

  • These short-term dance classes may or may not require costumes but comfortable clothing and ballet shoes (for some school sites) are recommended.

  • Students are not required, but encouraged, to participate in an end-of-session dance showcase, which gives them an opportunity to demonstrate what they have learned each semester of dance.

  • After-school dance clubs are held for 10-weeks in the fall (September) and 10-weeks in the spring (February).

  • There are no costume fees, unless the teacher requires them.

  • Cost: $80 each session Discounts apply when enrolling in both sessions in one academic year.

  • Parents must register through our online Dance Studio Pro portal by clicking the 2024-2025 Afterschool Dance Club Registration tab below, to either create an account to register or by simply going into their parent portal to register.

• Dancing with RYDE involves more than Just Dance! During each semester, students will learn beginner level dance styles by experiencing and exploring the wonder and world of dance through music and movement, community and connection, and expression and creativity. 

• This fun, educational, and enriching after-school dance club will not only have your child moving and dancing to the sound of music, but they will also learn how to channel that energy through different styles of dance! Experience Dance enables students to learn and develop creativity, coordination, musicality and listening skills, all while having fun. Activities include basic dance moves, dance games, and free-style dance in a non-competitive environment. Technique provides more structured focus on one or more styles to help with the fundamentals and formations of dance.
