Welcome to RYDE's 12th Season: R.I.S.E. Fit for Duty

​

At Royal Youth Dance Ensemble (RYDE), we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to move, grow, lead, and shine.

Now entering our 12th season, RYDE continues its mission of providing affordable, accessible, and high-quality dance and youth development experiences for children and teens throughout Knoxville and the surrounding communities. Through dance, mentorship, leadership development, community engagement, and creative workforce opportunities, we help young people discover their potential both on and off the dance floor.

Our 2026–2027 season theme, R.I.S.E. Fit for Duty, challenges every dancer, family, staff member, and leader to show up prepared, purposeful, and ready to grow.

Throughout the season, students will learn what it means to be:

• R – Ready to learn, lead, and embrace new opportunities

• I – Intentional in their actions, choices, and personal growth

• S – Self-Aware of their strengths, responsibilities, and impact on others

• E – Engaged in their learning, community, and team

At the heart of everything we do is the RYDE Way—our commitment to developing well-rounded young people through character, confidence, discipline, leadership, and excellence. We believe dance is more than movement; it is a pathway for building life skills, positive relationships, and future leaders.

 

RYDE offers classes and programs for ages 3 and up in:

• Lyrical & Modern

• Cheer & Pom

• Cultural Dance Experiences

 

More than a dance studio, RYDE is a youth development ecosystem designed to meet students where they are and help them grow. Through our seven pathways—Studio, Outreach, Performance, Summer Dance Experiences, Community Access, Creative Workforce, and Training Institute—we provide opportunities for skill-building, leadership, exploration, access, and career readiness.

Our students are encouraged to live out the values of the RYDE Way, embrace GEM + Glow + Character, and demonstrate the qualities of the Royal B.E.E.S. as they learn to move with purpose and lead with confidence.

Whether your child is taking their very first dance class, participating in an afterschool dance club, joining the Royal Gems Dance Company, attending a summer experience, or exploring leadership opportunities through our Creative Workforce Pathway, there is a place for them at RYDE.
